The Southeast Oklahoma Victims Advocacy Board was created in 1995, with a mission of providing relief and support for persons who have suffered physical and emotional abuse as a result of family violence, sexual assault, and/or neglect.

The purpose of the organization is to provide support and aid for child victims and their non-offending families.  Professional, trained volunteers -- law enforcement, prosecution, child welfare, and treatment -- work together to reduce the trauma that frightened, injured, abused or neglected children must endure.

To achieve this goal the Kidz Kottage Child Advocacy Center and McCurtain County Multidisciplinary Team were developed.
